I only joined Blue Sky last week because the National Book Critics Circle is on it.

In one week, I’ve got 76 followers. No idea what that might mean. I do know how to read a royalty statement:-)

I wonder if the split between hardcopy and ebooks might be a holdover from when the ma mass-market paperbacks started gaining traction. You know, when “hardcovers” were “real” books and “paperbacks” were just throwaway reprints. Because is it really fair for a $25 hardcover to go up against a $5 mass-market on a pure number-of-sales metric?
